Online Sellers Of Betta

Hi everyone,

From reading this section of the forum regularly, I am well aware that you betta fans rave about Bettaboys and KG Bettas.

However, no-one seems to mention bettasplendens.co.uk - is there are reason for that? Have you tried buying from him and are not happy? Have you just never bought from him?

The reason I ask is that he is in the same city as me, therefore it could potentially save me a postage charge.

i personally have not used him so can't say, however i am sure theres a few on here that have and i'm sure if i am thinking right they are stunning fish!

I have many fish from Steve @ bettasplendens.co.uk and would highly recommend him

He recently hasnt been updated his site much, he got a new shipment in that I have seen as I am subscribed to his newsletter but they have not yet been added to his site and this is from the 7th September

I live in the same city too,I look on his website regularly and he has some stunning fish,I purchased a fish from him a few months ago,but it died a few days laterit put me off a bit im thinking maybe just bad luck or my tank was not up to the standard Betta's require,he has great feedback so maybe I should try again buying a fish from him

Cheers SW - seems like my best bet is probably to bide my time, and wait for him to update his site.

Ha! That explains the blue male called "Pompey" then.

What had put me off a bit, I must admit, is the photos on the site - the colours of the fish look very washed-out compared to Bettaboys and KG - but with recommendations like these, I can put this down to the photography.

i can personally say vicki's betta's (SW) are very nice and well looked after i had the pleasure of going to see them and pick some up they are very clean and well cared for and i cant wait till her next batch are a bit bigger so i can add some more females to my tank

Vicki's fish are spot on,I've got three and they are all in perfect health and beautiful fishim also looking forward to her next batchi hope this hasn't made your head swell too much Vicki lol

i can say there is some very nice lots out there but yours are home grown and very well taken care of while imports may look nicer(ofc this is opinion based) i prefer some home grown (ofc i will get myself imports to whent hey catch my eye :
