Has anyone heard of aquatrader.com, and if so what was your experience with them.

I want to upgrade my lighting and they have 24" 130W Dual Strip Compact Fluorescent Light Fixture (2 power cords) for sale for $54.99 with a $9.00 upgrade for mounting legs and 2 bluemoon leds. The fixture comes with
include 1x65W bulb 12000K & 1x65W bulb actinic 03

I have a 20 gallon tall what corals do you think i could keep with this lighting system

Also do you think thats a good price?

Thanks for all the advise

I'd love to see a link, but thats a fantastic price. You could keep a full range of softies and prolly just about any LPS with that setup. Perhaps even some plating SPS too like montipora and similar, but that might be a reach. Branching SPS like acropora pretty much require MH lighting. How deep is a 20 tall?

Holy cow, they have straight pin PC bulbs for less than the price of my first born son! Thank you so much for pointing me in this direction, I was REALLY looking for a US seller of these :) You da man :good: :D

Edit: Sweet jebus, they sell 2x96 watt ballats for $20!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish I knew about this site 2 months ago ;)

The big question is this site legit. From what I have been seeing on other sites it almost looks too good to be true. If it is a legit site then I'm glad I didn't buy lighting yet. Anyone ever do any dealings with these guys?

Just to clarify a 20 high should be around 17 inches tall, but you should still be able to punch through with those, just make sure you know what you want so you leave proper stacking space with your rock space.

also, Ive personally never used anything made by odyssea. I also cant recall seeing them in any of my normal fish magazines. I only warn you because you generally get what you pay for. The last generalization for the day is that generally a brand name company might be easier to get product assistance from in the case of a dud (my recent experience with JBJ withstanding).
