I was just looking at their website, and thinking "mmm they've got some nice fish, might place an order witht them soon", then checked their delivery and I saw that they are only about 15 minutes down the road from me!!! Saves me £16.50 delivery!!!

why not start your onw LFS then Bren?

No time I'm afraid I'm going to head off to college in a year. Plus Alaskans arent really into the finer things we have 2 walmarts in the lesser part of this city alone (anchorage proper streatches for miles and miles its one of the biggest citys in the world based on acreage) people here are happy buying from the big box store with itch in its tanks or Walmart.

oooh dont you start me! I appreciate in the USA some are in the "sticks" as it were but other than that I feel you guys are the jammy buggers with everything..... what ever you need you always seem to have it in a walmart 5 mins down the road and even then at 1/3 the price we have to pay! heeheheheheh

IE when I was considering building an over flow a while back. Some chap in the USA poped to his local walmart and bought 10 plastic containers for something stoopid like $1. He had all sizes to choose from.

Here in the ####eola UK I looked all over for days, then finally found a plastics company online that had the variety in sizes of plastic container meaning they had what I needed and it was 1 for £10 at that point I gave up and bought an overflow off the shelf......

USA is much more spoilt for choice than us Durned Walmarts

Thats for sure, you have alot more than us and what we do have we pay alot more for, like you can pick up a 10gallon tank for about $5-$10 right? we're paying £20-£30

That place has 2" blue lobsters at £4.81, oh it's so tempting to use my new tank for that instead and then get another tank for some nice big fish!
