onion bulbs

if you grow an onion bulb how do you then make more? like do they drop mini seeds/bulbs or something?

DO i smell troll? If not....what "onion" bulbs are they? Aquatic species would most likely devide in the proper conditions, or produce smaller bulbs.

small bulbs will grow off the side of the mother bulb !! Only extremely large bulbs will start to propagate though

do u know approx what size the mother bulb shud be before producing mini bulbs? and then how long they take to grow into a good size bulb?
