One White Spot?

Increase aeration with meds as they reduce 02 in the water.
What's your location.

Right only meds I have is Protozin and salts. Added air pump and stone on and reduced temp by 2.

I live in Nottingham.

Myxazin by waterlife and pimafix.
Leave things for tonight then see what shows up in the morning.
Good luck.

Right wrote those down.

Thanks for all the help and support :D Going to get the new external filter in 1st thing in morning. So will post update as soon as back from there.

Fingers crossed and thanks again.

Right up date.

Woke this morning and checked tank 1st thing. Sadly the little neon died :( However the Rams seem a tiny bit more active today, not much but they are having odd swim about. They seem to not have energy and after swimming go to rest at bottom with a bit of a plunge. Other thing I noticed is that white spot has gone  So will have to keep an eye out over next few days.

I took a water sample to store and asked them to check it, just to see if it matched my readings. I didnt tell them what mine were at 1st but the bloke said my water is bang on (same readings as me, so thats good) I told him about the Rams and the neon and he mentioned about not enough C02 maybe. Ive bought some silocon to seal the tube onto my pump to stop it coming off. They didnt have any valves to regulate the flow in stock.

So from here I think all I can do now is sit and watch, keep a close eye out. Not seen any more flicking or rubbing and all other fish seem in tip top condition.

Any more suggestions??

See if the the seal thing makes any difference.

The Ram died  I was really ill yesturday and was bed bound so not sure when it died. It was alive and okish at midnight on saturday. I checked the fish this morning and the ram was dead at bottom! When I managed to get the fish out It had what looked like a cyst right below dorasl fin but not eaxactly where there previous white spot was? Also the eyes were red, not sure if thats normal or what.

Here are some pictures, sorry there not clear at all, my camera is rubbish

The fish seem ok but one penguin tetra seems a little less active staying near pump, so not sure if that one is ok.
I havent a clue whats going off?

Poor thing it was bacterial and a bad case.
R.I.P.
Some daily water changes on your tank.

Bacterial?? What would of caused that??

Done a water change already today. The other Ram is picking up quite a bit now. Are the others at risk??

No wound I caw? Only that white spot which vanashed. Unless it had a tiny wound I couldnt see, enough to get infected :(

Will carry on the meds.

Ok, good luck.

Update.

Another update. The remaining ram has really picked back up, back to normal swimming and eating, looks nice and lively again :D

Wonder what was up??

Can rams be an only type fish or will he need another ram as company?? Dont want him to go down hill cause hes the only one of his type and on his own :(

Not sure on rams never kept them.
Go to the right part of the forum for rams will get more help there.
