angelmouse, have those Discus ever had problems raising their fry? I have heard that fry sometimes take no interest in their pigeon blood parents.

this is the first time the fry have attached to the pigeonblood mum, they always attach to red marlbourgh dad, i did lower the water level for a couple of days to help fry attach and have to keep the tank lights on or the fry scatter. She is also a egg eater so i have to put guard round eggs.

The paratilapia is a beautiful fish really, just has a mean looking face

LOL They have 3 kids 1 larger black kid and 2 smaller beige ones , so think its 1 male and 2 females (could be 1 dominant male and 2 nerdys) madonna eat your heart out

Nelly these 3 largespot babies will be on offer in the future (afew months when they outgrow my fry tank) i'll let you know and if you are interested then you are welcome to them

Yes, I have heard that the fry get confused due to the fact that they don't darken in color when they spawn...
