One more little prod....

Just having some fun.....here are some orange cup corals (sun coral or tubastrea aurea) that open up in the evening to feed. Get MTS and add one more tank (salty tho') and come over to the lower part of the TFF page. LOL:

How did you manage to get it out in the main tank? is it getting its circadean (sp?) rythm going or did you flood it with food?

When I first got them, they did not open for several days...probably the shock of shipping/acclimation. I took them out of the tank twice in a separate container and , yes, flooded it with food so I wouldn't overload my tank. Now, when food is added in the evening in the main tank, they sense it and they pop open. In general, I believe it is the lack of/ end of light stimulation that signal's 'nighttime'. SH
