I moved all my tetras to a different tank, well 11 of the 12 that is. Seriously hours later I am still trying to catch the last remaining tetra.
Two nets are better and easer, till tommorow slowly chase the tetra with one net into the other net.Are you using two nets? It's easier that way also.

Same thing as two nets, but if you don't have two you can use a container.or get a clean plastic container in there and persuade it to go in there
i use a beanie box, use it mostly to catch tetras and plecs so they dont get stuck in the net, aswell as my bettas so i don't damage there finsSame thing as two nets, but if you don't have two you can use a container.or get a clean plastic container in there and persuade it to go in there
But do you mean a container like a cylinder? if it's not like a cylinder how can you take him out of the water?

Thats what was on my mind all the time, setting a trap. When I have a problem catch I just leave the net in the tank with a couple of catfish pellets in it. All the fish will investigate and have a go. The next day or just several hours later when a little trust has been developed, hold the net and wait for target fish to come to you.
