One Fish Is Driving Me Crazy

Don't stress him. Just wait until tomorrow or something and do it then. It's going to be unhealthy for the fish to be chased around like that... Are you using two nets? It's easier that way also.

Two nets are better and easer, till tommorow slowly chase the tetra with one net into the other net.

2 nets and also take some water out of the tank, less water less room to run :)

or get a clean plastic container in there and persuade it to go in there
Same thing as two nets, but if you don't have two you can use a container.
But do you mean a container like a cylinder? if it's not like a cylinder how can you take him out of the water?

When I have a problem catch I just leave the net in the tank with a couple of catfish pellets in it. All the fish will investigate and have a go. The next day or just several hours later when a little trust has been developed, hold the net and wait for target fish to come to you.

i use a beanie box, use it mostly to catch tetras and plecs so they dont get stuck in the net, aswell as my bettas so i don't damage there fins :good:

Oh, thats ok.

Thats what was on my mind all the time, setting a trap. :ninja:

Well I didnt want to stress him but I also didnt want him in the tank when the lights went out. I had bumped my Jack into a smaller tank so as to make the 80 a comunity, but two months later he was still pouting. So I switched them and once the lights went out that one lone Tetra was gonna look pretty tasty.
