Well hello and :hi: :fish :fish:

How do the rest of your fishes fins look? Do they look normal or do they look frayed?

What all do you have in your tank? Like fish ways, what kinds and how many?

this sounds bad but i dont exactly know.... i think i have a guppy the gold fish which is white/gold/black specled and a black guy with HUGE eye sockets sticken out the side of his head.. the pet store said they would all do well together????

Okay just to help clarify your type of fish.

Here is a male guppy, yours may be a different color....
Guppy Pic

Here is a picture of a Female Guppy

Here is a picture what I believe your one white/gold/black speckled goldfish may be Shubunkin Goldfish Picture Does it look similar to that?

If not how about Calico Goldfish?

And I believe your black goldfish may be this a Black Moor Goldfish.

Are those the types of fish you have? Or do they look similar?

If you really do have a guppy, I would suggest taking that back as the goldfish may try to eat it. Also the guppy will not do well with the goldfish.

Yes i think i have a male guppy a calico and the black moor
will the calico with the missing fin live? or should I???? i think the black moor is a bully

How big is your tank? Depending on the space the fish have they may be bullying each other.

Also how do the rest of the calico's fins look? Do they look frayed at the edges at all?

Well i can see a perfectly circular hole in the tale he has a few bites at the base
of his tail and it is a 10 gal tank

He should be fine. Just keep an eye on him to be sure no fungus or white fluffy stuff develops around it.

Also they may bully each other because their tank is to small.

Read This. It will explain about caring for goldfish in tanks.

Good Luck :good:

Um, right. Were you sold them all at the same time? As the guppy is tropical and the goldfish are coldwater . Also you are guarenteed to have problems if you continue with your current stock. A 10 gallon is at most big enough for just 1 goldfish I'm afraid and that is only while it's small and if you do fairly big 30 - 40% water changes every week. Once your goldfish grows a bit bigger it will soon outgrow your tank. I would suggest you get rid of both goldfish completely and go for a tropical tank. You only need a heater and a couple more guppies and you're away.

I would also advice that you read all the pinned articles at the top of this forum as they offer tonnes of useful info for beginners.
