One Dead Guppy Not Sure About Another

Hi, I have come down this morning to find one of the young guppies has died. There is no indication as to why as was fine yesterday and cant see any problems with it. One of the other fish has this strange stuff coming out of its bum. It is pinky colour blob, is this something that needs treating. I am having trouble in keeping the tanks levels as I have so many babies in there and gradually have homed most of them the rest to go on Saturday leaving me with 8. They have all been born and are now about 2 cm in length. None of the others seem to have this problem. Please help as I dont want to lose any of them as have lost a load of fish just before these ones were born.

Have you tested the water for ammonia and nitrite (ideally with a liquid test kit and not inaccurate strips)?

As soon as any of my fish start looking ill or one dies, that tank gets a big water change (>75%), before even thinking about any medication.

I have just done the water change and keeping fingers crossed all will be ok
