Just thought I would share a little story with you all, one of our guppies gave birth last week safe and sound in the fry tank, at the same time the other female gave birth in the main tank and I thought I had managed to save those babies too, I did notice the following day though that I still had one little fry in the main tank it was being chased by one of the big fish but when I went to get the net it had disappeared. In the mean time our main tank has had an outbreak of ich so we have been treating that with heat salt and daily gravel vacs, i have removed all of my plants and ornaments from the tank so that as the spores fall from the fish they would have nothing to cling onto to breed, so I was astonished today after my routine clean to see the little fry (still can't catch it) still swimming around near the bottom of the tank. He/she is my little ray of hope in my very chaotic and sick underwater world....
