I went to the beach for a week. Left the neighbor girl in charge of feeding my fish. I showed her exactly how much to feed the fish and gave her written instructions for dosing fertiliser. Long story short I come home at 11:00pm and promptly do a water change on my 75 gallon tank becuase there is large amount of fish food floating on top of the water, attached to the filter suctions, and laying on the substrate. I was horrified and my beautiful mbuna have distended bellies. Two days later they are all still alive. I have not fed them. A small trace of ammonia from all of the rotting food and masses of fish poop. Today I will give a small feeding of peas that will hopefully help the fish.

I didn't have the heart to say anything to the girl, but she will not keep my fish again.

I would always leave measured amounts of food for anyone feeding my fish.

In those little mon-sun pill pots.
Each section corresponds to a day, no chance they can over feed.

At least your lil guys can start recovering now! :)
