On-.line Plant Orders?

I placed an order for plants on-line last week....Tuesday 2/21.

Still no sign of them, and no shipping confirmation...I do have order confirmation and number, but attempts to contact get no response.

This is my first time doing this, so before I start to get irritated...

Is this normal practice with on-line plant companies?

If they use a Just-in-time system then the length of time to receive your order depends on their shipping schedule. Contacting them is a customer service issue I guess.
Did you register with them when you ordered? If so you might be able to log-in and see if there's any info.
Possibly check your bank/pp account too - Make sure you paid - Who did you buy from?

I finally got a response from customer service. Plants were not shipped due to blizzard conditions at their UPS hubs, and they did not want to risk sending them with a possibility of getting stuck in transit.

At least I know what's going on...and they won't be sitting on my front porch all night unexpectedly.

I guess not everyone is having the mild winter we are experiencing here in Chicago.
