i went in to crofts in banbury today as my mum wanted to look at the rabbits and i just had to see what fish they had was just cruseing around and saw some bettas 2 are fine and when i saw the 3rd male i was soooo angry his fins are almost not there he is being eaten alive by some kind of tetra's i realy did want to speak my mind but im just to shy went it comes to beefing at people so im going to try and find an email adress lol what a wimp aye i would ring but im still to shy at that and ild probly start swearing at them, it just ticks me of when i see bettas like this
any thought on what i should do and how to hanndle this?

Go back to the store and demand to talk to the manager. There is NO reason the fish should be in that tank if anyone were actually paying attention to how they looked.

I understand your shyness. You could give their number to bettamomma. She is always glad to call and gripe someone out, but it has to be in the US. She can't call internationally. Otherwise, I suggest writing a complaint letter to the store AND to the corporate office, if there is one. Good luck.

You could always call there - and talk to a manger.
Sometimes it's easier to do things like this when it's not face to face.
Just write down your thoughts before you call so you can get everything out and not hang up and later remember that you missed something.

I'd call them and rip them a new one.
I'm still trying to figure out how to call internationally.
Then the whole WORLD will be my butt-chewing ground.

Really, I'd give them a call if you can.

thanks so much for all the advice peep im going to call them later as i cant get through right now (maybe someone else is complaining) also im going to write a letter to head office.
i would have loved to have taken him home with me but i dont have any tank room yet gunna buy some beanie boxes soon so then i can save a few.
i do have one tank but i dont have a heater for it and i think it may get cold for him altho i do have 3 tanks running in my room and its quet worm in there do you think i should try it?

Bettamomma- is it due to cost that you can't call internationally? I do know some phone companies down in the US as well as up here offer a flat rate for all calls in North America, but I'm not sure how steep that rate actually is . . . still, it might be worth looking into

leasbettas, I totally understand being reluctant to speak up right away. I'm usually kind of shy myself unless I happen to see something that makes me more mad than smart, and then my friends just laugh at me cause I won't shut up about it
