OMG!!!!!!!!

One of my friends said i should get a Wolf fish or a snakehead. i cant see only puting only one fish in a tank that large it would bu just a waste. atleast thats what i think.

Mermaid :sly: :hey: But that would be INSANE to get like 1000 NEONS! but i think you should do A Cichlid Community You could get a black shark too!

How about a rift lake setup. You culd put lots of malawi cichlids in there. They look just as colourful as most marine fish. the only drawback would be the cost of stocking a tank that big. You're looking at having 50% or so more fish in there to even out agreesion and that's ALOT of fish!

If you don't want brackish, get a tank full of large aggressive cichlids. One or two oscars, some jack dempseys, a jag, and some convicts. Maybe a black shark and a common plec too.

Arowana's need a tank of at least 280 gallons while growing up, and even larger when they become an adult. I would not advise having a BGK with other aggressive fish, as one nip to the tail and it could be over for them, as they are almost blind fish, and rely on the electric sensory organ they have in their tail.
I would say an African Mbuna setup would be very effective in a tank like that, especially if you can get tons of rock. Because Mbuna aggression is lessoned when in a group, you could have a huge number of them (providing your filtration can hold out), so they would be constantly be darting in and out of caves and flying around the tank. The effect would be greatly more effective if you got a wide variety of Mbuna of all different colors. :)
If you get Mbuna, you also have the option of stocking the tank with many of the synodontis catfish, as both come from Africa and are usually compatible.
You may want to do some research on google about making a rock back round like this one, which I'm currently in the process of doing for my 75 gallon Cichlid setup. The added advantage of these walls is that the concrete will raise your waters pH to the high regions that Mbuna thrive in. :D

I just got a 140g and it is stocked with 1 Oscar, 3 Satanoperca Juraparis (eartheater Cichlids) 1 Lima Shovelnose catfish (soon to be 2) 4 Clown Loaches (soon to be 5) 3 Bala sharks, and a Gibbiceps Plec. I have a Royal Plec that will be added to the tank when he gets big enough as well.
It is a really lively tank and the fish go really well together. I would definately go with larger NW Cichlids than African. I know you could stock with loads of Mbuna, but I just prefer the character of NW cichlids. My Juraparis are really responsive, and as for the Oscar, you can practically have a conversation with him!!! . All down to personal opinion though.

If by Wolf fish you mean a Wolf Cichlid or Dovii, it won't work in that tank. I think they need at least 250g for one on it's own.
