omg poor dyed fish

i was at walmart today and for fun i looked at the fish.
to my disbleife they had several(i think about 5) dyed class fish...omg the poor things ...is there any place here in the us where i can report them too

oh ya they cost and outrageous 4 dollars and some odd cents when i can go to a real lfs and buy healthy non dyed class for half the price

Nothing will be done against this banch of Wal-Mart becuase carrying dyed fish isn't a crime or illegal. Sorry to say, nothing can be done besides filing a complaint.

i know....its just so sad i would have bought them(so they atleast have some happieness in there life) but i have no place to put them and i didnt want to spend nearly 5 bucks per fish when they more then likely will die soon

I remember back about 10 years ago before wal-mart went to become a Super Center, the walmart by me only had goldfish. We baught them a few times and they lasted for about a couple of months becuase me or my brother would forget to change the water in the bowl or something.

Its best to NOT buy them so Wal-Mart doesnt re-stock them...

thats lucky( i once had a feeder for a few months)my local walmart is very bad w/ fish. they keep oscars and african cichlids with guppies. and other bad combos. plus the tanks are riddled with disese(mostly ick and fin rot)...like ive seen a lot of other prople say....walmart should not be allowed to keep any living animals period

actaully I think I know what your talking about. I'm like in walmart everyday. They have a thing called fish of the month were they get an unusaul fish to sell for that time period. This month it's an Orange-Finned Loach. And the thing is that they are strange colors like purple and blue instead of being grey. These fish are not dyed and that is natural coloring through selective breeding. I was shocked when i first saw them but they had a big poster explaining this. I think that it's the same in all walmarts cause all 3 i've been to this month had them.
