OMG Im shocked!

Well today I drove over to my cousins house to get my cd player I left there and I saw my cp player next to this cut popcan and wen I picked my cd player up I saw somthing that shocked me...In the popcan I saw the poor little goldfish in it the water was all brown and the fish looked pretty bad. So i snatched the goldfish I forgot my cd player at their house wen I left with the gold fish but anyways I got the gold fish to my house I got it in my tank fed it and all that and called my cousins mom after the phone call I came back to the tank to se the dead gold fish. Wow so cruel I cant believe it I just feel so bad that it had to suffer like that

Oh my! Poor thing. Some people have no feelings and/or no sense when it comes to the feelings of creatures other then themselves.

I know I was so shocked to see that i feel so bad about this Btw.That kid is a brat he doesn't derserve a fish the only thing he would want it for is to kill it like he bought bettas to fight to the death.

You know what I dont get??? Is when people abuse dogs or som,thing they go to court but what about fish cruelty? Unfair if you ask me fish have feelings also but nothing has really been done sadly

Fish cruelty would never pass, most people believe they are a lower form of life. They can't lick you and such. heh. Personally I like fish but sending someone to a court for fish cruelty would seem a little crazy. You are hereby sentenced to jail for a period of 5 years for hurting a goldfish.

Why not? People who do things like that are disgusting. Besides, if you purposefuly harm a pet like that, you could potentialy do all sorts of things - for which you WOULD be sentenced severely...

People rarely ever go to jail for animal cruelty unless its somthing like dog/bear/other animal baiting- even in some of the worst cases like where a couple starved 150 animals to death including dogs and horses, only when to prison for 3months and got a fine. A man who bred hamsters and rats went away on holiday for some months with no one to feed the animals, all 60 of them starved to death and he only got his liscense to ever own animals again taken away from him and a fine.
Golfish aern't going to lift an eyebrow- but i do think you should be fined a certain amount of money for being cruel to them.
Nanny state yes, justice system stinks.
