Omg Cory Eggs!

Honestly, I've only ever seen eggs in my tank three times. One lone egg on a leaf once, that disappeared a few minutes after I saw it. Two eggs on the glass of my tank. And once I saw a cory carrying an egg around in its fins - being harassed by the males.

But, I've had three separate spawns take place and got adults out of the first two... still hoping the newest one that I saw comes back... He's either really good at hiding, or was gobbled up. Hard to say.

I've heard they prefer broad leafed plants to lay their eggs.

I love broad leafed plants, so it really could be any of the plants in my tank then!

They do tend to lay their eggs underneath my anubias and java fern plantlets though. I remember back in the day when I used to try and encourage them to spawn, now they just do it all the time. I'm considering converting to marine some time this year, and I must admit cory eggs is one of the things I'll miss if I do.
