Hi all,

I currently have a Juwel Rio 125L tank with 6 zebra danios, 10 cardinal tetra's, 1 clown pleco and 3 dwarf chiclids and a small (25l ish) tank with 3 honeu gouramis in.

I'm looking to get a new tank to replace the 25L one as that on is open top an splashes the back wall a little and evaporates like no ones business, so i want to get something between 180 and 300 liters (maybe the juwel rio 240 or a fluval roma 200).

I'm going to split the tanks down into an asian one and a south american one and i'm looking for stocking ideas. Both tanks will be sand substrate (i've learn my lesson with the gravel) and will be planted. I've put a *** next to fish i'm thinking of adding that dont yet own, and i prefer small fish as i think i gives a bigger impact when looking into the tank (larger scale)

existing 125L (Asian)
6 Zebra
3 Honey Gourami (maybe 4 if the new arrival survies)
*** 6 chain loaches

New 200 - 300 L (South American)
1 clown Plec
10 Cardinal tetra
*** an additional 8 - 10 Cardinal tetra
3 Dwarf Chiclids
*** 6 Cory
*** 2 Blue Rams

Cheers

Andy

I like your choice of fish for that new tank. It should be impressive looking. Which dwarf cichlids are you keeping? BTW the rams are dwarf cichlids.

I have three Apistogramma's at the moment. Got the tank last night, a nice Fluval Roma 240L, very happy with it. I'm going to really take my time laying it out as i want it to look fab.

Anyone else have any ideas on what to add or do with it, then it would be greatly received (the thought of 240 L or 63 gallons just keeps me smilling)
