Kept marines for the best part of 30 years, was thoroughly absorbed by it, and then about 5 years back the spark died and everything was moved on. Recently the bug bit again and I fancied doing something different and started to setup a Malawi tank. Got pretty close to completion and decided this wasn't what I wanted to do, a rethink.
So currently sorting out a few minor problems on a 59x13x24 Amazon Biotope, should be starting to cycle during the next week, plants in the next couple of weeks and start to stock with fish at the end of February (if all goes according to plan). This setup gas been 'designed' to make maintenance as easy as possible.
Oh, and along the way we have also acquired an all male guppy setup and an Askoll large (both of these are really my wife's, well that's what I tell her anyway
). Bizarre thing is I have never even been interested in freshwater tropicals before!
