Ok So I Resisted Long Enough

I have a new addition, leave you to guess what I got

I knew this fella was going to be cheeky in the shop. Floated the bag and posted the first message went and checked on him and added some tank water. Made myself a cup of tea and went to check on him and the bag is empty I have just had a major panic checking the floor and asking the kids if they have touhed the bag, but no he has got out on his own and is cruising the tank!! I guess I should have explained about being aclimatised to him first I guess he thought 20 mins in a bag is enough

They dont like bags, they are insane and watch he doesnt jump out when you put food in too, they can be very adventurous when it comes to attacking food, my little two frequently soak the area just going for food. Guess I shall be brining my camera next week huh??

Yes I have gone and bought a little 3" tiger oscar, although the way he is fronting up to the 2 full grown angels he thinks he is full grown The angels are up for re-homing so should only be in with him a short time. I have called him Rusty and I just him to bits already. Yes Minxy camera will be needed please I was so tempted to have the 2 but with only having a 300l available for his future it wouldnt have been fair to have the 2 kids adore him already, got finger marks all over the tank where the 3 year old keeps getting Rusty to follow his finger

Aha! Another Oscar owner! Is Rusty your first Oscar? I love them, such characters.

I thought it was an O when you mentioned the bag. Boris was bagged up to put him in the new tank and jeeeezus he has got some strength, bashing around in there. They hate the bags He also regularly soaked my OH's dad when he used to feed him

Yes I am now a newby oscar owner, looking forward to this experience very much, its taken me months now to take the plunge, and soon having a spare 300l tank will help. Rusty is my first oscar and hopefully he will have a long happy life with me.

You'll have to wait till next week when Minxy drops by with her camera.

Oh this guy is just so cute, did a wc on the tank this afternoon and he was playing in the fresh water. I think I need to change my background its black and I cant see him half the time
