at the mo i have got a 6 gallon (uk) tank....im not happy with it as i cant put much in it and its really annyoing me, i knwo tis my fault tho (but hey it was my decision, well my mum said "o u only need a small one")...anyway u the tank iv got is a AQUA 40, now u can also get a AQUA 65, which holds 58 litres = 12 gallons (UK), heres the link:

now i was wondering would this be alot better for me and worth £60.00, plus could i then keep the fish i want?

and the one that iv got....could i clean it all up and take it back??

Well, with the fish in the 6g, all you could do in the bigger tank is add another two tetras to make a better sized group and another cory.... But it's better than nothing.

- s it big enough for one blue ram cichlid, then i cud bse the stockign round that ram..?

The tetras are a schooling fish, you need more of them. Try to use some of this advice we give you.

I would not put a blue ram cichlid in there. That might be asking for trouble.

Er, if you want 'something alot different', get an extra, decent sized tank. Tank size is very minimum for a ram, with all the other fish, nada.

You can always mow grass for like 20 bucks, which is what in the UK? 10 pounds? I mow the front yard and back yard for about 20 bucks depending on the size, but I'm growing out of it. But I have 2 yards that I do weekly and make 45 bucks off of them, so try that this summer. It helps. Alot.

Er, so am I, but I've managed to buy all my fish, tanks, decor etc. myself. Why not try second hand tanks?

Look you don't get hired for this. You walk to your neighbors house, ask if they want their yard mowed. If they say yes, give tyhem an estimate of how much it will cost, and if they like the price they will let you cut it. Just do a good job so they will have you do it again the next week.

Hi

That seems expensive for such a small tank, and doesnt come with a heater, which would add another £10 at least. He also doesnt mention postage costs, which always makes me wary on ebay, as once you have bid you are commited. I believe someone is selling a 3' tank in the Buy Sell Swap section of this website for £50 which I think comes complete with extras. I dont know what area you are in so it may not be viable for you to get that one instead, but just a suggestion.

Also, if your mum was willing to buy you a larger tank you can pick up cheap systems from www.aquarist-classifieds.co.uk from all around the UK.

If a larger tank is something you are looking into I would suggest one of these methods rather than these all in one new packs which tend to be small and not hold a great deal. You can get a good deal if you shop around a bit.
