Ok My Updated Tank And List

Ok I have 29gallon with 2 blue paradise gorumies ,2-angel fish pleco kisser gorumi ,1 sarpae tetra and, 1 molly.


I have 1 question is is ok to add 2 bala sharks, or 2 dwarf gourumies which one would u prefer.

Hi Grimmy,

I wouldn't recommend adding either. Bala Sharks grow up to 12 - 14" so are unsuitable for a tank of that size.

Gouramis can be aggressive, especially towards each other, and although 2 may not cause any problems, i'm pretty sure 4 gouramis would fight for territory in a tank that size.

i thought we said get rid of fish, not add..... You are already terribly OS and bad stock anyway....


Get rid of pleco, kissing gourami, and serpae. Choose a non violent species of tetra that is big enough to evade the angelfishes mouth. Get 6 of those (AFTER YOU GET RID OF THE PLECO KISSING GOURAMI AND SERPAE) and call yourself stocked. Dont add ANYMORE fish AT ALL. Not even if you say you will be getting a bigger tank since chances are you wont be getting a bigger tank and you will suddenly have all these fish in your small tank which you said would have gone into your big tank.

grimmy remember when i said you would need a 40g minimum then you said ok, then got a 29. well im not stupid, ive been keeping fish for 4 years and have read more books and internet articals then you can think of. i know what im talking about (not alwase of course ) but you seem to agree with whatever anyone says then go off in your own ways.

and to be honest, i think you already have in mind what you want to get and no mater what we say you are going to get it then not tell us about it.

one more thing grimmy, did you cycle this filter? or did you use the filter from the 10g?

one more thing grimmy, did you cycle this filter? or did you use the filter from the 10g?

ok yhis what i did im using both the new filter and old so is that ok
