The first male ate his eggs because he was inexperienced, there was no one disturbances once the eggs were laid. Also many of the thai breeders suggest breeding in 2 - 5 gallon tanks, this tank has worked wonderfully in the past. Also the marbles are only on one side of the tank, its bare underneath the nest and the babies will only be in here for a week, then they will move into the 15 gallon growout.

last night roxy was trying to beat up manson, the bubblenest got destroyed etc. so I put her back into the cup so they re-establish everything, he's rebuilding his poor bubblenest now, I'll put her back in in an hour or so, she if shes learned her lesson, lol.

Get some proper water conditioner etc for the Betta itll help no end.

What makes you think I don't have proper water conditioner? I use genesis water conditioner and betta spa
