Thanks Shell will try the bloodworm juice......that's one we haven't tried yet We did have her in the breeding net in the girls tank for a while when this first started and after a couple of weeks she started eating little bits and then we put her back in the main tank and she seemed to be doing ok for a while. Now she's lost all her colour too we've moved her into a divided tank so she has her own space.

You can use both Maracyn and Maracyn-2 together. One is for gram negative and the other is for gram positive bacterial infections.

Hikari Betta gold are a good pellet or Betta pro, although pro is more expensive.
You can squeeze a clove of garlic so the juice comes out into a little bowl and then leave the pellet in there for a short while

i got him the hikari betta gold pellets today and soaked them in water. (i forgot the garlic) and i gave him only two. he already seems to be in a better mood. maybe its just because i have been with him most of the day but who knows. i will keep him on stright pellets to the weekend then give him some frozen brine shrimp on sat maybe or a worm we will see.
