Ok - So I have been told "NO!" by so many people about Malawis in my 95ltr tank.

So, Shell dwellers? I keep hearing that name.

So - I want some sort of bright coloured fish, nice to breed.

List of fish suitible please?

You could have around 3 pairs of any of the following tanginikan species:

Lamprologus' (Shellies) brevis, multifasciatus, meleagris, ornatipinnis, ocellatus, speciosus, similis,
Neolamprologus signatus,
Altolamprologus sp. "Compressiceps Shell"
Neolamprologus caudopunctatus (non-Shellies)
Julidiochromis ornatus or transcriptus
Telmatochromis bifrenatus, brichardi or vittatus
Paracyprichromis nigripinnis,
Xenotilapia flavipinnis

or you could go with a species tank of something like Haplochromis sp. "Ruby Green"

Non of these stand out :(,

grr all i want is 2 malawis lol.

Ooh i like the Haplochromis sp.

no chance that you can have haps in a 95 liter need more like 95 gal

Haplochromis sp. "Ruby Green" is a algae eating herbivore species that gets to 3 inches

so yes he can have those, just not most other haps

lamprologus occelatus are great! they are such characters. mine always bite me when i clean the tank!

Kribs are very colourful and grow to a small size. there are other pelvachromis species that are very colourful too. for example the nigerian green kribs
