Look what I scored last week!
This week is being spent cleaning it up! Getting it in the house was a pain! And it was already late at night, so no one wanted to take it apart and risk losing pieces (so we just lost my screwdrivers instead....). But it's here and coming apart now so I can get ready to set it up!

No, it's NOT going to stay there behind the couch. I do have a fish room for it! But since it was late, the five of us who moved it in (and yes, it took FIVE OF US) just shoved it into the living room enough for the door to close, and we all disappeared for the night. But the two top tanks are out, and I was finally able to push it away from the wall to start disconnecting the third. It came with everything pictured, including TWO sumps (one for heat, one for chilled water) and TWO UV sterilizers! And if you recognize where it's from, then you know how self-sufficient the system COULD be (although I won't go into details about what I found when I picked it up...).

Nice!! What are you planning to do with it, exactly? Looks like a really great set up, so many things I would want to do haha

OMG!!
You got to do a picture diary on this!, you must be so excited! I know I would be... the possibilities!
I will be following this!

Wow!

Very nice. Whats the plans then?

Well, I'm taking four 10G tanks down (double stands) and putting this in their place, but perpendicular to the wall. Then it's going to house my breeding guppies and shrimp, and then baby fish! Bettas, plecos, angelfish, discus, whatever!

Prior to this, I had 29 tanks in my house. This counts as 17 separate tanks, so the possibilities are ENDLESS!

Oh yeah. And all of it only cost me $55!

Oh, probably a breeding pair of crayfish too.

Wow, that's a crazy price on that thing. Instant proper fish room.

Amazing

Does it have its own solar-powered substation to generate the electricity you'll need to run it?

Wow, I agree with making a journal out of this!
Right! That would be terrific. I would enjoy seeing the long term progress of this from cleaning up and making it all work to adding the fish and caring for them, how you do water changes etc. There's a lot of interesting work that will go into that I think everyone can learn from.

How did you come upon this deal? And pray tell, where did you get it? Very unique setup for a hobbyist. Lucky you.
