ok as some of you are aware i recently did a trade with a friend, i gave him 6 o my baby mystery snails and he sent me four supposedly female halfmoons. now i usually never consider buying pure breeds for one reason, i believe even a mutt (veils) deserve a good home. in fact proudly my storm is approaching his one year b-day, i want to get a nice lovely picture for him to post a happy b-day post to him (a rescue).
anyways i digress, i do that a lot too. my dreams of a sorority tank have gone up in smoke as three out of the four of them are male. beautiful, beautiful boys but male none the less. the only one whose fins have not grown out is the only named one of the crew buggy.
i am besides my self, i don't have space for three male bettas. buggy has now been moved into the big tank in a breeding net until she is a bit bigger, i introduced her for a half four Sunday, the two older bettas didn't care, it was the male guppies that proved hostile, go figure. i am anxious to get more females in that tank for peach one of my older females passed on Saturday night. leaving me with the ever dominate Thera and a female crown siren.
i am griping i know, two o the babies have the divided 10 again, i am nervous about the divided tank after what happened recently, i guess i have little choice. the third male is tormenting the snails in the snail holding tank, until i can find new homes for the mystery snails. i don't think its a proper home but he is getting a kick of being room mates with the snail

Eeeek, sounds stressful, i'd be beside myself after finding out 3 of them were boys!! Hope it all goes well for you

i am a bit besides myself right now i have been trying for a while now to shut down another tank, that not happening now.
oh well

aww poor you....it'll get better....they will grow on you and you love them ^_^ its unavoidable ^_^
