Oh Great-he's A Tail Shredder :(

Tango's tail was in tatters this morning He's laying amongst the plants actually not looking that well. Still hasn't eaten either-not even bloodworms tempt him!

what type of filter do you have, my VT's tail got shredded in his.

The intake is about 6 inches from the motor bit down a long pipe, so his tail can't get shredded in it.

Yes, just a coconut cave and live plants. It's a distinctive kind of shredding, all fine and white. I think he's got mouthrot now too

Oh im so sorry to hear this ellena, i would treat with a med that can help both mouth and fins, also i would add some aquarium salt. My new boy isnt well ither
