My betta would disappear. Hes gone. I think he jumped from his tank. There is an opening at the top, but I never thought he would be able to jump through. He lives in a 1 gallon. I went to sleep with him in there, woke up to feed them and they were all gone. AHHHHHHHHHHH!.../cry

Check the floor first. Check for anything he could have gone under. And check very far around the tank. They can jump far, and they can flop around.

Do you have any pets? Could they have eaten him? Check em for remains...

If you can't find him and you don't have any pets, check for any places in his aquarium that he might've been able to hide in. He could still be in there. I know mine have camoflauged pretty well at times.

I searched for about 2 hours...Under, over, around. I have a dog, but she is never in my room. I just can't imagine where my betta went.

Yes, as what has been said check everywher you can. My bettas have shocked me a few times. One used to be a real jumper and kept jumping so much he splashed water on the floor. So he decided to hide and it looked so badly like he had jumped out of his tank i started to cry but then realised he came out for some food as i sat gazing into his tank

Haha... that's a funny one.

My fish freaked me out once at feeding time. I opened his tank, turned my back to prepare some bloodworms, and looked back in - and couldn't see him anywhere! I tried wiggling my finger in the water, I looked from all sides - nowhere! Then suddenly he emerged from the thick mess of silk plants...

Lol, thanks guys. Im gonna keep an eye for him. Im searched through and through in his tank, but hopefully he will just reappear. He might be a magical fish... lol. =D

mine did that before, but good thing i found him fast enough or he would have died... i was cleaning the tank so i put him in a cup with water filled all the way, i wasnt thinking so i left him on the ground... so then i left the room when i came back my lil bro said ur fish is dead i was like shut up stop lieing... then i looked and he was on the ground... he actually went pretty far....he went across the room, i would have never known if my lil bro wasnt there

Ive only search around the area where my tanks are. My little bro wanted to sleep in my room last night cause he got kinda scared, so I let him stay in my room with me. You think my betta could get over him to the other side of the room? I've checked under my bed also. I hope hes still alive, although its been a while. I still have hope!

The one thing I dont want to find is a crispy betta...

Let me guess you r a 20 year old boy, look everywhere under cabinets, waldrobes, anything. If you do find him hes probs gonna be dead. I am still looking for my corn snake went missing about 1 month ago.
