So i was looking on craigslist and i saw this, and i'm like wow 40$ for a 55 gal, But it's acrylic and i would just like to know if it's just as good as glass and if there's anything i should be worried about. So all info helps, and thanks in advance. :)

Are you able to ask questions of the seller? I'd be tempted to ask for a photo of it in situ (i.e. not on grass!) full of water so that you can see if it's leaking or not.
Have only got glass aquaria so I don't know if there is anything to look out for with acrylic or not.

Sure it's fine compared to glass but it's going to scratch a lot. It's most likely going to be stretch when and if you buy it. Apart from that you'd be fine.

It says in the description it has no leaks or scratches and it comes with lights in a different picture, Sometime today i will be sure to ask him though

I agree with techen, main thing is to take care when cleaning it, inside and out, that you do not use anything that will scratch it.  I would also ask what has been kept in it up to now as that will give you an idea of how long the seller has had it, and what has survived in it to-date?  Also, not sure about repairs as I am not an Acrylic expert, but it maybe harder to repair than a glass tank, whereby you could replace a panel if need be.

Do you know what sort of lights it has?
Where did they get it from, or have they made it?

It looks quite narrow so you will be limited as to what you can keep in it.
