Off To Get A Betta Soon

I'm off to rescue a Betta soon. The owner says he no longer has time to look after him so i thought i would have a go. Tank will be 35 litres, planted and 5 Cardinal Tetra's. Hope he will be ok in there with them.

I was thinking of keeping one in the pod tank I've got, rather than a cherry shrimp palace . I don't think it's big enough though :\.

Well, for when you do find that special betta, just to let you know, I have a half-moon betta in a 40 gallon tank with 3 male swordtails, a female mickey mouse platy, a fancy guppy, a clown loach, a hi-fin white skirt tetra, and 2 algae eaters. As long as the fish in your tank with him are community tank, they will get along just fine...just no other male bettas, but I am sure you knew that lol

I'm sure he will be as well. Betta's, despite the reputation, are very gentle with the community fish At least mine is

such a shame minnnt, when you find the right 1 you will know he is t 1 for you, sure any betta will love your tank as a home

Safely, none.
Most people like to keep males with as many females as possible, or none at all, just so they don't get harmed.

i think he means just females if that is the case then its recommended to get 5 minimum which ideally would need a 15 gal min IMO
