Off Balance Platie

i recntley bought 6 platies? i think thats the correct spelling, their yellow and black specklled. iv got one that seems healthy (no fin rot, slim, buldging eye, fungus, whites spot ets) he seems to be eating ok - actually hes a ganit first one to feed - well hes swimming funny, he sways side to side? likes settleing on the bottomof the tank and just sitting there, hes been doing this for over a week since i bought him. dose anyone have any ideas?

Swim bladders gone I expect. If its still eating and not in any distress I'd say leave it. However other fish tend to bully them from my experience anyway. Other option is to take it out and leave it in another tank to monitor improvement or may have to destroy it.

What are your ammonia and nitrite readings?

ammonia and nitrates all fine! hes not being bullied if anything hes king of the tank! he seems happy enought and loves swimming (if lobsided in and out of the plants and oremants) whats a swim bladder - im probably being blond but iv not heard that term before.
