Oddball Collection

Ok, hows this combo. (Just wondering upon compatibility or things to watch out for, not tank size, foods, plants or anything else)

- 1 Rainbow Shark
- 1 Black Ghost Knife
- 1 Spiny Eel
- 1 Gold Nugget Pleco

If these are compatible I am so gettin' em'. But the plec is a little expensive so I'll have to wait a little while longer.

Nothing wrong with that list on the compatability side of things but the adult size of the BGK could be a problem, fully grown they can get to 20"+ so will need a bigger tank at some time in its life.
One thing i ought to mention is that all of those fish are great at hiding and are mainly nocturnal, unless you want a tank that looks empty most of the day i would suggest adding a few daytime active shoaling fish as well.

tanx CFC, you sure know your oddball. I'll see about adding some daytime fish too. I'm a little nocturnal my self so it's still ok for the rest. What about a nightlight for them? (No, not for being scared at night ) Like a UV light or something?
