this clown is a sumatran clown loach at approx 8"
does he look odd to you?

Honestly Wolf when I first looked at it I believed it looked normal, but after staring at it some more I was thinking the markings around his face were a little off, but I have had clowns that looked like that. I then realized that the main difference between your clown and the ones I have kept is that he appears a bit stubby. I know they often get this appearance as they get up into the 6-8" range, but I think yours still looks a bit stubby compared to many I have seen/kept, but I guess it could be the pic.

What do you think looks funny, because when I first opened this topic I had the unmistakeable feeling I was missing something obvious.

I'm thinking the snout is longer than a 'normal' clown and the tail fin is bigger too.
maybe I'm just being silly, but then again mybe I'm not

Something does look off about it. Compared to my clowns and the numerous ones of various sizes I've seen but I can't quite make out what. Maybe it is the fins and snout but I'm not sure that's it. At 8" it's not a fat, cylindrical shaped body but still that doesn't fit either.
