Odd Behaviour

I just introduced a fulleborni into the tank and he and my maingano swim around together as he is dark blue thing is not sure whats happening every now and then they stop the maingano puts all his fins and and basically shakes / vibrates really fast they have not been fighting or aggressive the complete opposite what is this they are doing???

Hi,
Are you sure that the fish do not fight, did you introduce the fulleborni into the tank on it's own?
Have you got some water stats

I am sure they do not fight they just swim around together stop and my maingano vibrates then they swim off togther he was introduced with another yellow lab and something else.

anyone got any ideas as he is still at it but i have seen no aggression.

or they are establishing dominance. they are pushing water at each other to show which one is strongest!!

Sounds like the new fish is being submissive to the Maingano, my crabro does this with my OB Zebra. The OB is the dominant fish in the tank and the crabro just follows him around everywhere.

The shaking is just the Maingano reminding him who's boss.

thanks for your help i have decided that im returning 1xfuelleborni 1xred zebra and 1xlombardoi
this will leave me with one of each aggressive fish this would be my stocking list after this.

Iwas then thinking of upping the numbers of the labs and adding some more of the same type of peacefull mbuna does anyone have any suggestions i did want yellow fin acei but cant get them.
