I was just wondering if someone could tell me the differences in looks, temparaments and ease of keeping. Setup a "Pros & Cons" table if possible. I am unsure on there differences although I have heard that the ocellaris is easier to keep. -_-

I've never heard of any differences, except a small difference in color.

I have one Percula and one Ocellaris - I was told that they were both Perculas, both the FS was WRONG! Oh well, they get along just fine... :D

What about concerning hardiness? - If at all, is it that much a difference?

I would say the ocelaris *spelling this one is tank bred even though most perculas are tank bred you can get one that is from a reef.

Hardiness might also depend on the specific supplier to your lfs. I had planned on getting an ocellaris instead of a true perc, but when I actually went into the lfs, they recommended I get a perc as their stock of percs seemed to be hardier. He was TINY so I was a bit apprehensive, but he's a real trooper and is growing like crazy
