Hi

I have seen a few posts where people have mentioned putting leaves into their shrimp tanks and as i live in a forest i thought it would be a good idea as a change of diet in my tank. With that in mind should i be putting fresh green or fallen brown ones in and will they need any preparation before adding to the tank.

Any advice would be gratefuly recieved.

Thanks

:)

I was also thinking of doing this, as im sure shrimp would love it. Just get a handful of fallen brown (preferably oak, because they look nicer) leaves, give them a rinse then pop them in. I would say change them every 2-weeks, so that nothing drastic happens to the water.

if anyone needs any oak leaves let me know and ill pop some in the post for free
just sent another forum member a load was thinking of putting some in my corry tank myself
scot :good:
