Hi all, I have just purchased 2No Nutrafin Yeats Based Systems, and would like some info on how best to use them, firstly do the cannisters have to be sitting upright or can i lay them on there side ie on the glass cover above the water line, secondly I have 2 cannisters which i intend using going into 1 ladder is it a case of just linking the tubes together with a 3way valve.

Thanks Ally

Have a look in the pinned topic on them...plus use the search button in this part of the forum...just type in nutrafin and you'll get 100's of results!
Nope, dint lay them on their side, i knocked mine over once and the mixture went in the tank....took a week with water changes everyday to go!
You got a sorta hanger thing, where you can hook the canister onto the side of the tank upright....sadly ive lost mine.
Ive found if the mixture gets cool the co2 production will slow down, so keep it close to a light unit or something
:good:

EDIT: You'll also find the provided sachets will be useless...go and make a DIY solution, which can be found in the pinned topic at the top of the planted forum!
