Anyone lese having cloudy water an hour after doing a water change. this has been happening for the last month or so.
Never had a problem with it before.

It clears the next day if i leave the lights off and turn up the Bubbles.

Do you dechlorinate the water before you put it in the tank or do you fill it up with a python?

I find when i use the python, i put the dechlor in the tank first and then fill it up slowly, otherwise i get a small cycle and the water gets cloudy for a day.

I dont have an answer,sorry, but I have been using Aqua Plus for some time now and never had that problem. I have had slightly cloudy water after filter maintenance and a water change, but I put that down to not rinsing the new filter floss properly before putting it in. Unless of course it isnt that and maybe the Aqua plus is causing problems. Although none of the fish show any signs of problems.

Yeah should have mentioned that, its only after i do filter clean. but i always clean the sponge in tank water.

I have emailed the shop i buy it from to see if they have anyone else mention it.

I use Aquaplus on the fighters' tanks and they go cloudy for about a day aswell.

Will see what the shop says when he replies.


I buy the 2Litre bottle as it works out most cost effective. and is still cheaper than the LFS' Price including postage.

i've been using aqua-plus since dec '05, and the water has never gone cloudy because of it. perhaps you're having an algae or bacterial bloom?

I think it might be the latter,the water is crystal clear today.
