it is a product that is supposed to contain all the bacteria you need to get your filter cycled instantly. Sadly, it appears to do very little of what it claims on the bottle. General advice is to leave it on the shelf and save your money.

Althouhg it sometimes comes as part of a starter kit, iu wich case use it as it cant do any harm but do not purchase it specialy.

Agree. Part of the problem with bottled bacterias may not be that they don't have the correct bacteria in spore form, it may be that the process of bringing bacteria out of spore form may be slower than just encouraging and growing the few live bacteria that are already in tap water, thus leading to our observations that bottled bacterias just hardly ever seem to make the process any faster.
