Just set mine up that i got yesterday added the packets and done everything it said but still no bubbles after 3hours what do i do i might use the diy mix but i dont no if i need the bicarbonate soda how do i found out whether i need it or not ? is it based on the ph of my tap water ?

its says depending on how soft ur water is to add bicarb well how soft is depending ? lol

well do a Gh test and a PH test, low PH means you generally have softer water, and a low gh would indicate unstable ness, but your in manchester, a hard water area so dont bother with stabilizer
