Nutrafin Co2 Unit Leaking In Tube

Twice its done this now it goes up the tube but never really makes it in the tank so i changed the mix added less water but its still the same im just worried incase it goes in my tank what should i do im only using half a teaspoon method so theres not too much yeast its been on over night so will it just be fine ?

You need to get yourself a check valve to prevent the yeast solution from making its way to the tank.

Does that actually work tho? It's a one way valve allowing input from one direction to flow through, surely if it allows the co2 to pass through the yeast mix would do the same? or is it only gasses that will pass through it?
