It's been over an hour now...and...no bubbles. Could the yeast they supplied be expired, or do I need to give it more time? It says it will start working in a half hour, but I imagine it may take 24 hours to really start working. Anyone have a clue about this?

I would assume you used the mixture that came with the Nutrafin CO2 kit. From what I've heard from other people, that mixture sucks. As soon as I got mine, I've been using the DIY method involving sugar, yeast and tapwater. The DIY method has given me fantastic results and my plants are overgrown. Here's the pinned article:

If you put the yeast mix in it will often take up to a day to start dependent on the mix and the temperature. I used to sit mine on top of the hood so it took some of the heat from the lights. Later I got technical and put each one in a thick hiking sock inside the cabinet

The supplied sachets are not worth using. Go for the yeast.
