Number Of Fish Help

ok how about 1 pair of convicts, 1 jewel cichlid, 1 crayfish and 7 Giant Danios and 1 senegal Bichir

ah wow that senegal looks really interesting, thanks for the advice lol i just love my convicts i know there gits to get tank mates for lol but ye i like this idea alot too could i change the giant danios to the rainbow fish? and how would the senegal get on with the cray?

my senegals spend most of their time in the upper levels of the tank so provided you can give it plenty of areas to 'rest on' high up the tank it should be fine,

As you are going for a pair of convicts i would go for the Giant Danios over the rainbows as the rainbows will get too stressed out by the aggressive cons whilst the Danios are extremely hardy and will be fine

ah i see just wondering kus the danio dont look that colourful are there any other dithers that i could have?. and so my cray wouldn't get eaten then? if i kept the pair of cons so they didn't mate as at the moment ive had them for over a year and have only bred once. ? lol i could ask a million questions m8 :)

No i don't think there is anything nearly as compatible as Danios, I mean you can try rainbows but it would be a risk,
Although keeping cichlids is a risk and keeping a crayfish with fish is a risk so you never know it may work?

If you have kept the crayfish with the convicts for a while now then i'm guessing they should be ok,

senegals aren't really aggressive, but they are predatory and will attempt to eat anything that is too small,

as for my fish i have a number of cichlids including a Nicaragua cichlid, severum, green acara, sajica, t.ellioti, geophagus surinamensis and pair of keyholes.

as well as 2 bichirs, (a standard and a albino), a snakehead, a black ghost knife, reed fish and more...
