That's the point, it was for a 'who can make the smallest planted tank' competition which, unsurpisingly, it won. I believe it's made from a water trough thing used for birds.
There was a thread over in the brackish forum where this guy made a tank (with a filter) out of one of those little hand held pencil sharpeners. He had a couple of starfish and maybe something else, I can't remember. It was pretty interesting.
I used a tumbler and made a pico that sat on top of my nano cube. it held daphnia and had some tiny pieces of bogwood and had frogbit as a floating plant.
looked really cool and daphnia swam around happily for ages until i fed them to the fish.
