Nano experiment

Ok so a little update. To help the cleanup crew a sally light crab and an emerald green one has been added and the alge is well under control. So much so that i think I have my first hitchhiker appear.
can anybody identify the 'growth' in the pictures?

I believe what you have there is the "ghosts" of algae that was once green.

How does it look today? Has it largely diapered, or is it persisting?

Respectfully, I do want to point out that Sally Lightfoot crabs can get pretty big for a nano tank this size, and will eat and walk on corals if you had any plans to keep corals in the future. They can also be aggressive in general, and you may see some crab on crab aggression with the emerald, which are also known to nip corals, particularly Zoanthids. Personally, I like emeralds, I don't have much trouble with them.

Thanks for your input, whatever it was has disappeared , probably eaten I would guess.
As for the Sally Lightfoot crab, as I'm not 100% sure in which direction I am going to go with this tank, I will enjoy his (her ?) company and if the crab becomes a problem then my lfs will always take him back.
