Now Have Rummynose Tetras

Looks like I should keep my mouth shut. I mentioned rummynose tetras to a friend and so she gave me 5 rummynose tetras last week. I do really like them, but with my platies having babies so often, I decided to re-home them to keep the tank from getting crowed. Plus I didn't want their babies to start breeding with eachother. So last night, the platies went to the LFS. I feel so bad today. I hated to see them go but it's a really nice fish store at least.

Those are probably false rummynose....

they lack the characteristical "spike" of red the heads towards their body....

Thanks Bloo! I just picked up a small box of slate... I'm going to make him a big cave on the left side of the tank this weekend.

Hmmm, interesting. I'm reading the differences between true and false ones; still confused what exactly to look for though.

i belive theres something about yellow strip on the tail aswell....if you want to know for sure then the-wolf is your man!
