How big is your tank? How long has it been set up? Exactly what fish do you have? Do you have test kits for the water?

Is your tank cycled.
Is it planted.
What lighting and fertiliser are you using of any.
What is the water temperature.
What other decorations are in the tank.
How long is the tank.
How long has the tank been running. What has changed about the tank recently.

Yes tank is cycled has artificial plants. Has LED lightning. Temperature is 27 degree Celsius. It's an elongated shape. Has been running for 4 days without livestock. Nothing has changed much. I was assured that the Molly and gourami gets on well. But this Molly nipped on the gurami all day until the gurami gave up and passed on

Okay so what are the actually test readings.

Secondly never never listen to anything a petshop ever says.

Thoes two fish are unlikely do to do well together.

What sort of Gourami, in my opinion your tank is too small for Mollies and you should have at least 2 females to 1 male.

I also think your tank is too small for anything but dwarf Gourami.

Please advise as to the total amount and average size of fish I can house in a 50 litre tank?
