Not Sure What Kind Of Betta

can you try get a picture of it flaring? would help determine if male or female, also check the link about female tail types in my sig, shows how to spot a male PK from females :good: q

that color patern is VERY VERY rare in females. it also has no bars showing.

the white spot is the egg spot although has been found on males before your best bet would be to get a pic flaring and look at the link in my sig :good:

will try and get one of it, but its a bit hard with the colouring on it

or just compare its flare to that of your other females, maybe seperate it and show it another male see how it reacts

Fin length is early twice the size of the other female

so is one of mine though and i am sure its female, although i am now having my doubts as her egg spot has disappeared

It's probably a plakat female... female plakats are more aggressive then other female strains, just like in males.

If it definitely has an ovipositor, it definitely is a female.

Edit : I have an identical female that I first thought was a male.. looks a lot like a male plakat, builds nests, yet it has an ovipositor.

When my male pk was young, I thought he might be female because he had a white dot too. But when he got older, he was definately male and the dot disappeared.

so if this is a ma,le pretending to be a female then how long would it take for white spot to dissapear.

it is a very pronounced white spot like the other girls
